•                            THE BUDDING GOLFER OF BIHAR

  Aman Raj, class Xth ‘B’ student of Kendriya Vidyalaya,Bailey Road, PATNA, (First Shift) is a budding golfer of Patna Golf Club, PATNA.Aman has bagged many National and Regional awards. A few to mention are, Winner of Eastern India Junior Golf Championship,Kolkata, Runners up in All India Junior Golf Championship,Pune and Second Runner up in Karnataka Open Junior Golf Championship,Bangalore, West Bangal Open Junior Golf Championship,Kolkata.

                                                          Recently Aman was selected for an International tournament Asia Pacific Junior Golf Championship, held at Eagleton Golf Resort Bangalore.Aman become 15 years old on 05.05.2010.Now he is playing in Category-‘A’ (15 -18 years age group)Aman is the youngest player in this group.Out of 8 (eight) countries ‘viz.Bangladesh,Thailand,Chinese Taipei,Philppness, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Singapore, Aman’s rank was 21^st.  Aman is the first player from Bihar to represent India on International level Golf in the mere age of 15 year.

Saurabh Of Class XIA (2nd Shift), student Of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2  Bailey Road Patna, stood 413th (Roll No. BR0086) in examination conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (2008-09)and is awarded cash amount of Rs. 500.00.

The exhibit "Pollution Management" prepared by "Monika Shankar, Class XI B " , under subtheme- "Climate Change- Causes and consequences" got 3rd Prize at National Level in 37th Jawaharlal Nehru Science exhibition held at KV AFS AVADI CHENNAI

Advait Akash of Class XI C got 1st Rank in State level in 11th National Science Olympaid held on 20th November 2008. His All India Rank is 58.

• The painting done for STATE LEVEL DRAWING COMPETITION  for the topic "URJA SANRAKSHAN CHITRAKARI PRATIYOGITA"  painted by VIJYA of class V (FS) and Shubham Anand of class V (FS)  of our School was selected for STATE LEVEL DRAWING COMPETITION . Both of them were awarded Rs. 1000 Cash prize.  Vijya (V) of First Shift also got Rs.2000/- as cash prize.

• Manish Kumar Jha of of our School Got 1400th position in IIT and is now doing Mechanical Engg. in IIT Kanpur. In C.B.S.E. - Engg. 2008 he stood 1st in State Rank and 111 in All India Ranking.
• Abhash kumar got Selected in CBSE 2008-Engg has got All India Rank 8000 and is now studying in National Institute of Space Science & Research - Bhuwneshwar
• Abhishek Mishra has got All India Ranking 708 in C.B.S.E. 2008 and has joined N.I.T. Trichi.

• Gaurav Prakash of Class VIII C got the First Prize in the race run for the development organized by 'Bihar Industry Association' Patna on 2nd March'08.
